Vee Browser Guides
Practical, step-by-step help for getting the most out of a private browser that puts you in control.
Vee Browser works much like the mobile browser you already know: an address bar at the top, tabs, bookmarks and history. What sets it apart are a handful of privacy tools that most browsers either do not offer or hide behind extensions. These guides explain what each of them does, when it is worth using, and exactly how to set it up.
The screens described here come from the Android app. The iPhone version shares the same ideas, but some menus may be arranged differently.
Getting started
Install the app, learn the toolbar, choose a homepage and pick the settings that matter on day one.
Standard vs. Isolated tabs
Sign in to the same site with two different accounts at once, and keep sites from linking your sessions.
Setting your browsing location
How websites find out where you are, and how to choose the location they see using the built-in map.
Privacy, encryption & site permissions
What Vee stores, how it is protected on your phone, and how to control what each website may do.
AI Facets
Add-ons that reshape how a specific website looks and behaves, installed from the Facets Marketplace.
Bookmarks, history & backups
Folders, importing from Chrome or Firefox, cleaning up duplicates, and moving everything to a new phone.
Which guide should I read first?
If you have just installed the app, start with Getting started. It takes about five minutes and covers the choices that affect everything else, such as whether new tabs open as Standard or Isolated.
If you came to Vee for one specific reason, jump straight to it:
- You juggle several accounts on the same site (work and personal email, two social profiles, a client's dashboard and your own). Read Standard vs. Isolated tabs.
- You do not want websites to know your real location, or you want to see a site the way it appears in another city. Read Setting your browsing location.
- You want to understand what happens to your data. Read Privacy, encryption & site permissions, then the full Privacy Policy.
- You are switching from Chrome, Firefox or Edge and want your bookmarks. Read Bookmarks, history & backups.
Still have a question?
The Frequently Asked Questions page answers the questions we hear most often, from "Is Vee really free?" to "Why does a site still show my real city?". If you want everything Vee holds about you removed, the Delete My Data page explains how.
